2015 has been an exciting development year for us here at Initiafy. In the past few months we have responded to customer requests for changes to the platform that will further enhance the value to end users.
Here, I will go through three of these new features and explain how they will benefit both Administrators and End Users. – Alina, Customer Support
1. Text Auto-Reader
The problem: Our customers are the superheroes of the hiring world, in many instances taking on huge numbers of contractors and temporary employees. Sometimes these workers have literacy issues or are not native speakers of the language which can hamper their ability to understand initiation training fully.
The solution: Initiafy has now instituted the Text Auto-Reader on all Enterprise accounts to solve this problem and secure training to all workers. Now, when a worker who may have language or literacy issues is taking their company training through Initiafy they can simply click the Audio button on any page and have the contents of that page delivered to them in audio format. A simple, seamless solution to an age-old problem for company trainers and one that will not only save a huge amount of time but will also guarantee that training materials are being delivered effectively.
2. Mandatory Document Upload
The problem: Many of our customers require that workers arriving to them need to have certain documentation in place before they start work. In heavy industries such as construction and manufacturing there are obligations on all workers to be certified to work by government agencies such as OSHA in the U.S. or the HSE in the U.K. The issue for our customers was that workers taking initiation training were not uploading all their documentation correctly. What was required was a gateway on certain sections of the registration process that did not allow new hires to progress further with registration until they had uploaded their documents.
The solution: Now customers on the Enterprise solution can set their Mandatory document upload settings to ensure everything is correct and in place before the contractor or employee starts. This solution extends to Photo Uploads so that the company has all records they require for compliance and security.
3.View Full Profile
The problem: One area that we try to focus on is the Administrator view in order to improve the dashboard experience for those people responsible for the next big recruitment drive. Our Admins talk to us regularly about their experience with the platform and how they wish to view their data. One thing that was coming back to us was the lack of a singular end user profile view for the Admin. Up until now if the Admin wanted to view a specific employee’s registration details they would have to download a CSV file with all employee’s data.
The solution: We now provide a User Profile View for Admins that allows them to see one employee’s registration data, all in one place. This type of view allows the Admin to get a clear picture of a new hires’ registration details in one place and allows them to see, in one glance, if there was anything missing in that particular contractor’s registration. They can also see all the documents uploaded by that person and see their course results. This solution is already helping company administrators with their task of managing new hires simply and cleanly.
